1) How can I tell if the roots are healthy?

-Healthy roots are greenish-grey and firm, while root rot generally  makes the roots seem mushy. If they aren't healthy, cut them away with sterilized shears.

2) My roots are all rotting. what should I do?

- Cut them away from orchid with a pair of sterilized shears and we also have a How to care for your Orchids blog.

3) Are orchids safe to animals?

- Cats/dogs and orchids can coexist just fine, it shouldn't be any problem. We definitely do not recommend the animals eating them but if he/she does it shouldn't be toxic. We recommend either to keep your orchids in a spot that's inaccessible to your pets, or keep a sharp eye on your four-legged family member.

4) My orchids have dark spots on the leaves?

- dark spots are an indication of a fungal infection that may be harmful to your orchids. These black spots occur when the orchids is left in damp and hot spaces for an extended period of time. To preserve your orchids, you must cut the infected area and place it in a well ventilated area.
